More than a year ago, Google launched a very convenient short URL shortcut for its own products, such as docs.new, sheets.new and slides.new, which made it easy for users to add files directly. At this time, Google has decided to allow third parties to apply for .new, so that other companies can also provide shortcuts!
Anyone can apply to Google for a .new ending domain name, and now has the following short URL shortcuts:
- Playlist.new: Create a new playlist on Spotify
- Webex.new: Start the Webex meeting room on your browser
- Link.new: Create a Bitly short URL
- Cal.new: Record Google Calendar events now
