In this age of internationalization, there are always a few names on the Internet that are difficult to pronounce correctly. LinkedIn recently announced a new feature. Users can record the pronunciation of their names, so that others can call themselves correctly from the beginning, reducing embarrassment.

This recording can be up to 10 seconds long. As long as the user enters the edit profile screen, they can enter the name recording. After the completion, a small speaker will appear next to the name on the personal page. Users can listen to the pronunciation of your name by pressing this speaker. LinkedIn recommends that users try to record in a quiet environment and use clear voice to ensure that others can clearly know your pronunciation.

Although users can listen to the pronunciation of names on all platforms, users can only record in the iOS / Android mobile app. This feature will be available to all LinkedIn users by next month.
