CCTV uses 5G Network and 4K Transmission in Spring Festival Gala

This year, CCTV Spring Festival Gala will be the first to realize 5G network transmission of 4K ultra-high definition video and audio at the conference venue.

China Media Group recently launched a 5G network 4K TV transmission test jointly with China Mobile and Huawei in Shenzhen. This is the first 5G network 4K TV transmission test conducted by the mainland, which means that the mainland has made a major breakthrough in accelerating the 5G scale test and application demonstration.

What is 5G? 5G is the fifth-generation mobile communication system. Currently, the transmission speed of 4G is 100Mbps, and the speed of 5G can be at least ten times faster than 4G, and at least 1000Mbps.
