Google+, a social platform created by Google, decided to close the personal Google+ service in 2019 in October last year due to data breach and low number of users. Google recently announced the official date of closing the service: April 2.

After April 2nd, users will not be able to use Google+ accounts and pages, and Google will begin deleting contents from Google+. However, the entire removal process is expected to take several months, so there will still be a chance to see some of the data in Google+ after April 2. Google reminds users that if they need to keep the information in Google+, they need to complete the data download process before the closing date.

The Enterprise Edition of Google+ available in G suit is not affected by this decision. Companies using the service can continue to use Google+ within G suit for internal corporate communications.
